Wellness
Our goal with Wellness is to teach our students how to learn, work, and live in the world around them. PSA helps develop responsibility, time management, and a sense of ownership in all aspects of their life. In addition, we educate our students on how to navigate the nature of being a student athlete and the dedication it takes.
Neuroscience
Students will learn about their brain and how it deals with stress and adversity. Learning how their brain works leads to strategies and a better understanding how to handle both successes and difficultly with an awareness and perspective needed in order to succeed.
Yoga
As a component of both wellness and athletics, yoga is a wonderful way for our young student athletes to improve strength, balance, and flexibility while providing a way to relax and rest their brains. We are excited to partner with Honor Yoga Fishers to teach out students yoga.
Nutrition
Our students will learn about the health benefits of certain foods. Students will also learn to prepare simple breakfast and lunch meals and make them both at the academy and at home.
