Doug has over a decade of coaching experience with exposure at every level and with both genders; from academy up through collegiate athletes. He uses his experiences to propel his coaching, specifically, his knowledge of sport performance. Doug spent the last year at Indiana Wesleyan University working with goalkeepers from both the men's and women's soccer programs and was also a high school strength & conditioning coach. Prior to HS, he was an assistant strength & conditioning coach in Pittsburgh at the DI collegiate level. Doug started his soccer coaching career in 2009 and worked his way up.
The biggest motivator for Doug has been the character at which it takes to play at the highest level. Part of that comes from higher levels of integrity and discipline which Doug enforces with everyone he works with. These pillars are what Doug uses to build and structure his coaching philosophy and what Doug will use as he guides all of the athletes he works with.
Currently, Doug lives in Kokomo, Indiana with his wife Christy and their two kiddos - Logan, who is 10 and Abigail who is 6. If they aren't on the soccer field, they are either building Legos, doing something that involves Bluey or Star Wars or outside playing some kind of sport.
